God’s Promise

As the saying goes, spring is God’s promise that life will go on.

When you’re in the throes of grief, it is sometimes difficult to see this, but taking a step back and watching the turning of the seasons and seeing the daffodils spring up from the barren earth and the trees spout blossoms, it is quite evident that life does go on.

I know that Mom is in a better place now, free of the cancer that ate away at her earthly body. Her spirit is now free – everywhere and yet no where that I can physically reach out to her. There isn’t a day that goes by that I don’t think of her and want to call her to ask her advice on something or another. I still wish that she would have been able to come down with Dad over Christmas, but that wasn’t to be.

I am thankful for everything that she did for me, that she taught me and that she showed me.  I MISS YOU MOM!!!!!!!!!!!

Here’s to a life well lived.

Just as the year turns and life begins anew, we go on missing our loved ones and keeping them always within our hearts.

Anne, this is the first I have seen of your Mom’s passing. I am so, so sorry. I know how hard that is, even though it’s been decades since I lost my Mom. I remember how many times I went to the phone to call her, then remembered I couldn’t. . . I wish I had known sooner, but please know that you have my most sincere sympathy for your loss. *HUGS*
